Coming Christmas

Again comes that time of year
Lights we see, carols we hear
Peace on earth, all rejoice
Exchanging gifts and sharing toys

Christmas comes, here I lay
Sound asleep, tired from day
Wrapping gifts and making cards
to share with friends 'cross few yards

Though Christmas eve, one thing I wish
not some stuff, neither some dish
But a moment in time, where I can spend
being with the person, I love to no end

Tonight I'll sleep beneath this tree
All alone, no one beside me...
Dreaming of that day I can finally see
That we'll be together beside this Christmas Tree...
